Fantasy World League
REGULATION
This regulation establishes the guidelines for the Fantasy World League (FWL). By registering for the competition, it is assumed that each participant, hereinafter referred to as a Competitor, has read and fully accepted this Regulation, demonstrating full understanding of the rules and procedures.
Competitors with doubts or questions about the Regulation may contact the FWL administration at any time. The FWL reserves the right to change the regulation at any time without prior notice.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
Two points are required of all Competitors:
1. By participating in the FWL, Competitors agree to comply with the general rules established in this regulation and fantasy football rules in general.
2. Competitors also agree to use their "best efforts" to reasonably resolve issues and accept and respect the decisions of the FWL, League, and commissioners.
LEAGUE FORMAT
The Fantasy World League (FWL) aims to create an association of NFL fantasy leagues, where each league assigns points based on the results of each competitor. These points will be accumulated in the FWL Ranking, and at the end of each season, the top 12 ranked competitors will participate in the FWL Finals, with prizes to be announced at the beginning of each season.
COMPETITION FORMAT
Upon registration, the competitor will participate in 2 leagues, but will be participating in 3 championships:
1. Fantasy Divisional League: Leagues of 12 teams, distributed according to their ranking in the FWL the previous year. The top 6 teams at the end of 14 weeks qualify for the Playoffs.
2. Brady Bowl: Leagues of 12 teams, distributed according to their ranking in the FWL the previous year. The top 3 teams at the end of 13 weeks qualify for the Playoffs.
3. Playoffs Challenge: This league will be entirely in Playoff format, where competitors will participate using the same team from the Fantasy Divisional League.
SCORING SYSTEM
The scoring system will be based on the performance of the players. Points will be awarded according to the following categories:
1. Passing Game
2. Receptions
3. Rushing Game
4. Kicking Game
5. Defensive Game
LEAGUE SETTINGS
1. Redraft (no keepers from the previous year)
2. Half-PPR (0.5 points per reception)
3. Head-to-head
4. Snake draft format
5. Waiver wire on Wednesday mornings
ROSTERS
The composition of the league rosters will be as follows:
1. Starters: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DEF
2. Bench: 6 reserve players (BN) and 2 injured reserve (IR)
DRAFT
League Drafts will have 15 rounds each, with a time of 8 hours per pick, with the date and time to be defined by the Commissioners after the vacancies for the same are closed.
Competitors who are not online/available on the date and time determined by the commissioner for that league, the Competitor must use the mechanisms available on the platform itself (Sleepers) to make their draft in the best possible way (such as the player queue, favorite players, or whatever Sleepers is making available at the time), without having anything to complain about regarding their availability for the same.
If the Competitor is unable to make their choices for any reason, the platform itself (Sleepers) does so randomly, usually choosing the best player available, trying to fill all the vacancies that a starting team needs.
Under no circumstances will picks made during the draft be undone, errors when clicking, inability to access, etc., will be the responsibility of the competitor and the commissioners will not undo the pick. This includes the famous "Platform Bugs", which should be reported to the app's help center. The draft format will be Snake, in which the first Competitor to choose in the odd-numbered rounds will be the last to select in the even-numbered rounds, and vice versa. The order of the picks will not be reversed after the second round - they will remain "snaked" until the end of the draft. The choice of positions (sits) in which each Competitor will draft will be random.
WAIVER WIRE
Free agency or “waivers” will be renewed on Wednesdays, respecting Monday Night Football as the closing of the round.
Once a Challenger has won the dispute for a player, his priority becomes last (Sleepers standard).
TRADES
All trades will be subject to a “Veto” vote by the participants of each league, where the veto will only occur if the majority votes to veto the trade (7 votes = Veto / 6 votes = Trade approved).
The trade voting period will be 24 hours, starting from the acceptance of the two (or more) competitors involved in the trade.
Trades will be allowed up to 2 days before the drafts, during the draft the trades will be blocked and only allowed after its end.
SCORING
The scoring system will be based on the performance of the players. Points will be awarded according to the following categories:
